Keeping your body healthy and happy the natural way does not have to be a chore. Most people think that they cannot possibly make their own beauty products as surely it is far too hard? Generally, those people are wrong and creating your own natural body care remedies is often a lot easier than you think! The Benefits of Homemade Body Care Products The reason why natural homemade remedies are better for the body is not exactly rocket science. Shop bought products often have various numbers of chemicals in them which can potentially be harmful to the skin.
With natural products you know exactly what you are getting as you are the one who puts all the ingredients in. Some good examples of home care remedies include: A Recipe For Truly Glowing Skin If you want nice, glowing skin then you can try adding one teaspoon of Chiraunji Powder, one teaspoon of Rose petal paste and some milk. Mix them al together and then simply scrub gently over the skin.
Wash the mixture off using cold water and you should notice instant results. Natural Lip Gloss Creating your own lip gloss really could not be easier. For a simple one which will leave the lips with a natural shine, simply add one teaspoon of Glycerin with only half a teaspoon of almond oil. Mix them together and then smooth over the lips for instant effect! For a more complex lip gloss you will need a lot more ingredients. You will need paraffin wax, petroleum jelly, coconut oil, candy melts, a grater, wax paper, a Ziploc bag, a small container and oil based candy flavoring to add extra flavor. To create the gloss you need to first grate some of the paraffin wax, onto the wax paper.
Place approximately one quarter of the grated paraffin wax into a plastic bag. Next add the coconut oil, one teaspoon of petroleum jelly and one candy melt. If you want you can also now add one eighth of oil based candy flavoring. Next you should seal the bag and place it into a bowl of hot tap water, in order to melt the ingredients. This should take no more than 3 to 5 minutes.
Once the ingredients have successfully melted, take the bag and squish the ingredients around inside so that they mix together. Snip off a corner of the bag and pour the ingredients into a clean container. You can now either leave it to set for an hour or you can place it in the refrigerator for fifteen minutes.
The lip gloss should then be ready to use and it is best applied using cotton wool. This mixture should last a long time but if you do notice any change in color or texture then you should immediately chuck it away. A Good Bath Scrub In order to create a good bath scrub you will need a cupful of dried orange and lemon peel, a cup of cooked oatmeal and one cup of blanched almonds. Simply place all the dry ingredients into a blender and pulse them until they make a really fine powder.
If you are not instantly using the mixture, store it in an airtight container until you do. When you are ready to use it, simply add a few drops of warm water to around one tablespoon of the mixture, or enough to make it into a paste. Rub the mixture into the skin using upwards, circular motions, and then rinse the product off thoroughly. Overall there are plenty of homemade recipes to choose from and you can easily find some good ones online. There are also various books available which you can probably find in your local library. The best thing to do is to experiment with different recipes to find the ones that work for you.
Creating your own body products can often be a lot cheaper than buying them and they are often a lot more effective too.
